I had 5 years that I will not soon forget in Lee County. I came down here to be with my ailing grandparents originally. After one has passed, the other now living back in Virginia near my mother, I leave with the best thing that ever happened to me: Pam.
Life has a way of disguising the best things there are. This stay with my grandparents was a test of my will, patience, and love. But the reward for having stuck it out is tenfold: I finally found my soulmate.
